WHS & GolfBox

England Deaf Golf is committed to improving participation across the sport. In aid of this, for the first time in golf’s history, England Golf, the governing body of the amateur game, offered non-club members access to an Official Handicap Index under the World Handicap System (WHS), which launched in England in November 2020.

England Deaf Golf require all golfers have an active handicap index to play in their events and encourage all societies to make this mandatory. Please use the link to sign up:

Once you have signed up please let us know using the below google form

To assist our societies with competition scoring we have purchased GolfBox competition software

This software is offered to our societies to use which provides several key benefits:

  • Reduction in administrative requirements during events

  • Player's results being uploaded onto their MyEG app which then in turn updates their handicap index

  • Adjustment to reflect difficulty of scoring

To use the software please email Matt Bradshaw (treasurer@englanddeafgolf.co.uk)
